You had mentioned Christmas Kelly.. Christmas stresses me too.... sometimes I wish I could hibernate like the bears do and miss it. Me and hubby see things different as far as Christmas goes, he figures we should blow huge amounts of money on more stuff we can't afford, I think we should get one signifigant gift for the kids, something we'd not buy every day... and then a few small things (clothing...and a few things, but mainly stocking stuffers) As for extended family ...well only those we do much with and have a good time - I like to get them a family gift, a game, some books, something that can get used and enjoyed by all. The others in the extended family, a card will do. Friends... I like to get friends something, friends mean more to me than family. I get more in life from friends than most of my family. Hubby thinks I am excessive with friends, but I am not. I don't get many friends gifts, really, and overall, I am a cheapo -- I don't spend anything like I wish I could! I have seen many a gorgeous and thoughtful gift that I'd love to give, and at most he hears me say that'd be great for ie:kelly or whomever. but I don't go and buy. I am attempting to have some handmade gifts this year, these are what I really enjoy, and appreciate - a handmade gift is by far more meaningful. .......who to spend xmas with? Well that is not a problem, we don't travel in Dec as icy roads are a big hazard here in Northern Alberta, we have gone on the notion of it is not worth the risk. I do regret, however, that I have missed Family Christmas parties for years now that occur near Edmonton... We could see so many realatives at once, and my aging grandmother (my only living grandparent) is always there. What to eat... not a problem, the traditional North American Christmas feast.... and too much of it!! (I don't bother much if at all with the cookie baking.)

Did you figure out your craving Kelly?? LOL... no, it is just you, we aren't all that sick!! *snicker* (note: I was going to make a small re-blog, but Christmas got me going!! Sorry for taking up so much space!!)
