~~XP & the new PC~~

Well one of the things i like about XP is how it previews every file in the folder you have open.
It's like some photo programs where it gives you a thumbnail of every file. Kinda like win98 used to do but it only previewed the one highlighted file. It's really kewl especially working with pics etc for web pages.

I don't like how you can't drag and drop programs from your desktop to your taskbar anymore.. to keep the desktop a little less cluttered. I guess they figure the new arrangement of programs after you click on your start button makes up for that. I think it keeps the last 6 programs you've used in the area right after you click your start button. Which i guess is kinda kewl.

On the downside also...my printer won't work with XP... which really sux cause it was a printer/scanner/copier/fax machine. I doubt we'll lay out money for another one like it. There may be a way to get around the problem... i just haven't found it yet.

The 17" NEC flatscreen monitor is awesome. I don't think i'd want a bigger one but if i had one maybe i would like it..i dunno. My webpage looks way better. *grin* My entry page was screwing up but not anymore. So as long as it looks good to me i'm not messing with it. ;)
