Well i'm back. Something finally got me away from my blogger... a new pc!!! *grin*
Hubby came home with a pc for me last night. It was for my last day of rad.

This cancer thing is not a bad deal i tell ya. ;) ..hehe. The new 17" flat screen monitor was a big surprise as well. Des' hubby wants to know the stats.. he does...really ..ok so i was gonna tell ya anyway.

Here goes..well ..it's a
Sony VAIO
Intel P4-1.7GHz
80G hd
512MB ram
DVD rom/CD-RW
32meg NVIDIA TNT2 graphics

Now if anyone has had problems with their Sony ... i don't wanna know!!! ...lol. I loved our IBM.. i loved my HP.. and i swore i'd get a Dell next time... but we ended up with a Sony so lets hope it does ok.

XP is causing me more probs than anything right now. It is so completely different it will take awhile to get used to it. It's like going from win3.1 to win95 back a few years ago.

There are a couple of annoying things... the taskbar won't automatically pop up so i have to keep hitting the taskbar key on my keyboard to get it to do that. When i take the taskbar off auto hide i still can't see it when programs are maximized. I find this really annoying!! Is this an XP problem? Other than that it's pretty kewl. Will just take some getting used to.
