We are still having unusually warm weather for November.
Glad to hear that little html blogger program thingy was of some help to a couple of you... :)
Dinner was great last night. It was the first really normal meal i've had in awhile and i actually enjoyed it... prime rib and alaskan king crab.. *grin* ....mmmmm mmmmmmm. It's hard to say how much taste i've got back... enough to enjoy some foods anyway.
Oh this is funny... i ordered a special coffee before dinner last night cause i'm not much into drinking cocktails anymore and i can taste stuff better if it's sweet. Sooo this special coffee comes and the glass has been dipped in sugar like they usually are... i start drinking this thing and i woulda bet my life they had salted the rim not sugared it!! I give it to my hubby and i'm ready to send it back... ( this has happened to me before btw ) ... well i guess it was sugar??? .... i swear it tasted like salt to me .. lol. So that gives you some idea of where my taste is at these days. *grin*
I still feel like i have strep throat this morning. Of all the luck... my mouth starts healing and i get some virus or somethin that's making my throat more sore than the rad did!! I can't remember ever having a virus that hurt my throat this bad... but it's not too often you really have strep... so guess i'll see monday or tuesday next week.
As far as the rad goes these days and the rest of the side effects... my hair still seems like it's falling out all over... although everyone keeps telling me they can't tell... well except for the 6x4inch bald spot on the left side... lol.
I'm still brushing my teeth 4x a day and fluoriding them every night so i don't get cavities... your saliva protects your teeth more than most people realise... so when they kill off your salivary glands you have to be fanatical about looking after your teeth. One of the girls in my support group got 14 cavities in a week because they didn't have her use fluoride every night!!
I'm taking these pills 4x a day that are supposed to help with the dry mouth... and they do... only i can't take all 4 or i end up puking every morning... so i only take 2 or 3 a day. I'm still using the lidocaine to freeze my mouth only not as much as i was. Taking a few tylenol #3's still just because i like them... lol... just kiddin. My skin hasn't totally healed yet but it's a lot better than it was... i just have to keep slapping that cream on every night for a bit longer... i should during the day too but it gets all in my hair so i don't.
And that is about it for now... :)
