~~Radiation~~
Rad was at 830am this morning. Well it was supposed to be at 830am...more like 930 when it actually happened. That was ok. It was the 2 hrs waiting for the rad doc that just about did me in!!!! I was ready to lose it...what a waste of time.
BUT... i get in there and my rad oncologist starts asking me what's going on with my hubby and he explains all about meningiomas after i tell him what's been going on. He answers all my questions and i end up thinking if he was like most docs i'd be in and out within 3min. So i guess if i want him to take his time with me i have to put up with waiting 2 hrs while he takes his time with everyone else... *sigh*
Anyway, the side effects don't seem as bad as a week ago now. The nausea and no taste are the worst. My mouth isn't half as sore as it was. I still have dry mouth sometimes...but i'm kinda used to that for other reasons.*grin* I'm looking like i have a sunburn on the side of my neck they are radiating and i've lost a bit of hair behind my ear.
I can taste sweet stuff the best and food i would normally eat fairly frequently. I don't think i'm really tasting it...i just think i've eaten it so much my brain thinks i can taste it 'cause i know so well what it should taste like. :)
