~~Radiation~~
I had my first rad treatment yesterday. I thought being bolted to a table by your head for 20min sounded a little freaky. Like that's about 15 minutes longer than i want to be bolted to a table..ha!!
The table is like laying on a block of stone. Don't ask my why those things don't have a little padding. No doubt there's some explanation for it. Then your neck is placed over this pointy block...sorta like if they were gonna chop your head off only backwards...ya know..facing the ceiling..then they bolt you down by putting this mask over your face and attaching it to the table. So now you see why 20min sounded like a long time...lol.
Guess it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be cause 40min later i woke up asking if they had done it. :) It took a bit longer today cause they had to do some xrays and mess with the positioning so they didn't zap me in the wrong place.
